Dig the hole 1 to 2 inches larger than the container the tree is in.
Once you dig the hole fill it with water and let it drain. Once it drains plant the tree.

If your tree or shrub is in a biodegradable cardboard container slice two sides of the container and plant the tree with the container in the ground. If your tree is in a plastic tube turn the tube upside down and tap it on the edge of a table and the plant should slide out of the container. Place the tree or shrub in the hole and fill in with the soil you removed to dig the hole.

After you plant, water slowly so the soil will be completely moistened.

Water two times a week for two or three weeks and as the weather cools you can water once a month.

For the first summer you want to water your plants every 5 days.

Once the plant is established you can reduce the water to once a week in the summer and once a month in the winter.

Enjoy!
